Re: Yanky 620

Dash restoration looks great - what product did you end up using on it?

Re: 260c car pinion lock

I had that problem with my 260C, annoying af when the door just bounces off the latch. I'm guessing you've also figured out that you can click the latch back one position with your finger to make it shut in the meantime.

Try messaging brocky and see if he has any good ones also

Re: RB25DET Spark plugs

22401-75T15 is the Nissan number and is a reboxed PFR5G-11 according to Google.

Assuming it’s not massively modified you should in theory be fine with those. I’ve got no experience with iridiums so can’t help you there. Maybe try gapping down to 0.8 if you’re still having issues after that.

Re: My '72 1600 SSS

Did some more stuff and ended up finishing up thr fuel pump plumbing and ran the front to rear brake pipe. I was putting this off because I’m lazy, it involved spending money and also I didn’t really have a clear picture in my head of how it needed to be. It’s all quite tight in there but nothing is...

Re: stroker motors

No so i will bore the block to 86mm. going into a 180bSSS. or next deal is to make up z24 pistons . crankshaft. can it bo...

Re: Otodats President

Sounds about right. I've deleted the charcoal canister off every daily and project I've had and never had an issue. In some cases it actually significantly improved the smoothness (less vacuum hoses to leak I guess). Just rip it all off and put an inline fuel filter off the hardline that runs back t...

Re: stroker motors

There's plenty out there from US forums, it's not really popular here. Apparently Z24 blocks crack pretty easily. If you use a Z22 or 24 crank you'll need to use a dampener pulley as the cranks aren't fully counterweighted. Also expect to have to do some minor mods to the head gasket and maybe block...

Re: Otodats President

I seem to remember long ago when I had my Laurel that the crank angle sensor code always shows up, then you're meant to crank the starter and it should disappear.

Regarding the EGR and whatnot.... delete it and the charcoal canister and don't look back would be my suggestion.

Re: Kev's 1972 Datsun 1600 Project

Nice work, looks like you're not cutting any corners. You might want to look into a CV rear end if you haven't bolted everything in already, especially since it sounds like you'll be able to make some big HP numbers.
