My 1600

Postby 1600nz » Mon Nov 07, 2011 11:12 pm

Hey guys just posting a couple pics of my 1600, bought it as it is now, I have fixed up a few small problems it had, mostly wiring, and have sourced some tidier trim parts for it.

Planning to get the suspension and steering alot better first, then an SR (no turbo!) conversion. And deloom and tidy up etc...

Pretty keen to keep it driveable for most of its life, not like my last datsun.

Sup Willis, good to see a thread started on this beast. I'm heading up for a few days soon, I still have your workshop manual at my olds place.

hey cheers guys. Yea id be pretty keen on those throttle bodies, the plan is to keep it real simple and clean in the engine bay, do away with as much as possible. I was keen to stay with the 1600, but i figured it will be easier to get parts for the sr20 and gearbox.

Hey bro yea I was actually thinking about that workshop manual the other day, I still have those 2 dvds u gave me too!

Might be no progress on this thread till the new year, working every day till xmas.
